Saxon is an Auckland-based building company specialising in using traditional building methods - a unique point of difference in their field and a skill that is becoming increasingly rare. They wanted a new brand that would set them apart from their competitors by visually communicating their unique approach, and at the same time a brand that would look highly professional in order to attract high end clients and bigger construction projects.

We achieved this by designing a logo based on a vintage format that was common in the early 20th century in order to communicate traditional expertise, while at the same time keeping it professional with a clean and simple easthetic. We extended the same design philosophy to their whole visual identity to create a complete, cohesive and distinctive look.
